Anderson Endorses Republican Candidate

(KCPW News) Republican former city councilman Keith Christensen has joined current council member Nancy Saxton in the official race for mayor. Rocky Anderson announced Friday he will not seek re-election, and today endorsed Christensen, despite their differing politics.

Christensen has committed to support many of Anderson's pet projects, including green building policies, youth after school programs, transit expansion, fairness policies for people of all sexual orientations, and revitalizing downtown with more housing and nightlife. Christensen served on the City Council from 1993-2001 and is currently chair of the Salt Lake City Airport Authority.
