Businesses Launch $500K Campaign on Prop 3

(KCPW News) Businesses from Salt Lake and Utah County will spend half a million dollars over the next 30 days urging people to vote "yes" on a sales tax increase. The quarter-cent hike will fund transportation and public transit.

The campaign is being coordinated by the Salt Lake Chamber's 2015 Transportation Alliance. The Alliance estimates congestion on Utah roads will triple by 2030, and says the sales tax increase can get critical projects built 15 years ahead of schedule.
