Navajo Nation to Elect President

(KCPW News) When Americans vote in the congressional elections Nov. 7, about 300,000 Navajos will be voting for their president. The next leader of the Navajo Nation will be one for the history books. Either incumbent President Joe Shirley will become the first to win the presidency twice, or his opponent Lynda Lovejoy will be the first woman elected to the office.Listen to Julie Rose's report on NPR's Day to Day:
