Becker in the Race for Mayor

(KCPW News) Add another hat to the ring for Salt Lake City Mayor. Democratic State Representative Ralph Becker State is joining the increasingly-crowded field of candidates for Salt Lake City mayor.

Becker has served for 10 years in the Utah House and was a member of Governor Scott Matheson's administration. He plans to keep his legislative seat during the campaign and says his mayor style will be considerably more collaborative than that of current Mayor Rocky Anderson. He promises to continue Anderson's environmental efforts in the city and hopes to restore the city to some of its Olympic glory as a hub of activity.
