Congressman Says It's Time For A Frank Discussion About U.S. Policy

Today's release of the Iraq Study Group's report is good news to Utah Congressman Jim Matheson. Matheson says he welcomes an independent review of what is and is not working in Iraq, because it's time to have a frank discussion about America's future involvement in that country.

The study concludes the current U.S. policy in Iraq is not working, and a change in course is needed to prevent disaster. Matheson says he agrees with the report's conclusions, and the Iraq Study Group's recommendations will build some momentum when Democrats take control of Congress in January.
