ReAL To Unveil Finances Today

(KCPW News) At nine this morning, Real Salt Lake will lift the covers from its business model, hoping to convince Salt Lake County officials and taxpayers the team is a good investment.

After some delay, ReAL has promised to release its financial details, even though it could put them at a competitive disadvantage in the pro-sports world. Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon says fair or not, its what the public deserves. He has asked the county's Debt Review Committee to evaluate the team's viability before approving a plan to put tax dollars toward the soccer stadium.

ReAL CEO Dean Howes is confident the county will find in the documents a quote "impressive business plan" for the team.
