Rare Plants and Oil Drilling in the Uintah Basin

Two-thirds of Utah is public land managed by the federal government. Some of that land is rich in oil, gas and other minerals worth big bucks. Some of it, too, is inhabited by plants and animals that are either threatened or endangered - which is a problem for potential mining operations. The latest issue is a rare cactus in the Uintah Basin. KCPW's Julie Rose reports:
