Utah Environment Sparkling Clean

(KCPW News) Despite hazy skies and regular inversions, Utah's air is cleaner than it's ever been. That's according to a new report from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, which also notes the state's success in meeting standards for clean water and land.

D-E-Q Director Dianne Nielsen says the challenge now is to stay ahead of the state's population growth through even more monitoring and better public awareness of pollution reduction efforts. The full report is available online at www.deq.utah.gov.
