Divine Strake not only represents an unadulterated case of political 'doublespeak' where officials concede the threat of spreading nuclear dust and deny the known and historically proven risks in the same breath, but it also represents a case of putting military and foreign policy initiatives ahead of the very lives and health of a substantial portion of US citizens, a willingness this administration clearly demonstrated with its policy of inaction regarding Katrina devastation.
