Rocky vs. Hannity Tonight

(KCPW News) Rocky is dusting off his boxing gloves for a bout with conservative Fox News pundit Sean Hannity tonight. Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson says he accepted the invitation to appear live on the show "Hannity and Colmes" despite previous unpleasant experiences with the network."I've been on Fox before and found the commentators to be extremely rude - they interrupt when they don't like what you're saying," says Anderson. "But I'll take on anybody, anytime, anywhere to get this message across. Because our President has been an international outlaw and a war criminal."
This is just the latest in Anderson's high-profile campaign for the impeachment of President George W. Bush. The Mayor is quick to rattle off examples of Bush's missteps and has fanned the flames of contempt among conservative Utahns, including State Republican Party Chair Enid Greene.
"She's called me an embarassment," says Anderson. "Let me tell you I don't find anything embarassing about standing up for the Constitution against a President who ordered the warrantless wire-tapping of citizens. And I certainly don't find anything embarassing about standing up for international law that prohibits wars of aggression."
Greene has refused Anderson's request for a debate on the issue. Instead, he'll spar with Sean Hannity tonight at seven on the Fox News Network. It will be Anderson's first appearance on the show, and he further admits he's never actually watched it.
