(KCPW News) A third big-name Republican candidate for President will visit Utah this week. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will mine for dollars at a $2,300 per-person fundraiser in Salt Lake City on Friday. Former Salt Lake County Councilman Steve Harmsen is hosting the affair at his home, but says Mayor Giuliani isn't the only candidate he's backing:"The opportunity to have a high-profile Republican in your home - I think anyone would be interested in that," says Harmsen. "But I'm not a delegate to the Republican convention so the only thing I can do is support all Republicans."
Harmsen says he's made contributions to the Romney and McCain campaigns, too. But he does admit that Mayor Giuliani's visit to his home on the East Bench has him planting spring flowers earlier than he'd planned. Both John McCain and Mitt Romney have held similar high-dollar fundraisers in Utah since January.
