I had the great good luck of working with Wayne when he was on the staff of Edward M. Kennedy. All of us loved and admired him. His ears must have been burning in heaven recently, because in February we celebrated Senator Kennedy's 75th birthday and there were a lot of stories shared about Wayne that night.
A friend of mine who lives in Salt Lake City sent me the tape of your tribute to Wayne and I am very glad to have had the chance to hear it. I plan to send it along to several people who worked with Wayne way back when we were young. They will love hearing about him.
I hope you got a chance to meet Wayne.
