Cannon Supports Temporary Worker Program

(KCPW News) Utah Republican Congressman Chris Cannon favors a long-term temporary worker program as a solution to the nation's immigration issues.

With many American businesses relying on migrant labor, Cannon says it would cause chaos if they were all sent home. He maintains undocumented immigrants become indistinguishable from legal residents once they have been in the U.S. for ten years, and taking 12 to 20 million people out of the country would shock the economic system.
