"By 2050, that's right; and not just to say, ‘Okay, by 2050 we'll do this,' but do everything that we can now. There is so much that can be done today."

Speakers at tomorrow's Step It Up rally will talk about ways individuals can fight climate change, while bands like Los Lobos, Blue Haiku, Salty Rootz and the Motherlode Canyon Band will provide entertainment. Food booths and a children's play area are also planned. The free event starts at 3 and goes til 10 tomorrow at the City County Building, on the southeast corner of 400 South and State Street.
