Have Utah Lawmakers Gone Too Far?

Today's show focused on concerns the tech world, specifically Google, has with Utah's new Trademark Protection Act. Naysayers, such as Pete Ashdown of Xmission, call it a regressive law that will stifle technology and business in the Beehive State, while supporters believe it will make Utah a haven for businesses seeking trademark protection the worldover. Matthew Prince, CEO and co-founder of Park City-based UnSPAM Technologies, supports the bill and helped review it for state lawmakers, who unanimously passed it earlier this year. Prince explains the origins of the new law:
