Planned Parenthood Takes to the Streets of SLC

(KCPW News) The nation's highest court has upheld a ban on partial-birth abortion, which leaves pro-choice groups with no further appeal on the issue. So local Planned Parenthood supporters are taking to the streets.About 15 people waved pink signs urging commuters in Salt Lake City to honk for women's reproductive rights this morning.
"They're deciding, rather than letting doctors decide what appropriate procedures should be done for women who desire to terminate a pregnancy," said rally participant Pat Murphy. "I think we need to protect women's health and leave it in the hands of them and their doctors. As opposed to in the hands of a bunch of justices who never went to medical school."
A lone counter-protestor joined the group, waving signs that read "Pray to End Abortion" and "Abortion Kills Children." Planned Parenthood organized honk-and-wave rallies around the country today protesting the recent 5 to 4 Supreme Court ruling. On the same day three years ago more than a million women marched on Washington D.C. in support of reproductive rights.

I have a hard time comprehending how anyone who reads the explicit descriptions of the procedure given in the Supreme Court's decision can be in favor of this barbaric and disgusting practice.
I guess one's "right" to be free of any consequences to sexual activity are more important than volunarily dismembering a child in when it is likely viable to live outside the womb. How horrifying.
