A Little-Known Downside to Compact Flourescent Bulbs

(KCPW News) The Governor's Mansion recently went green, with staff swapping bulbs in every light fixture for energy-efficient fluorescent bulbs. Government buildings at Salt Lake City and County have been burning with low-energy light for years and the trend is taking hold in the homes of Utahns. But there's a downside to compact fluorescent bulbs few realize. KCPW's Julie Rose reports:
