The September Project is a grassroots effort to encourage civic events about freedom and democracy in libraries on or around September 11. Last year, the effort resulted in nearly 500 libraries in 30 countries hosting events. Midday Metro talks about this year's September Speakout with co-director David Silver and Joyce Ogburn, Director of the J. Willard Marriott at the University of Utah.
