Police officers receive hours and hours of weapons training in order to be prepared should they need to draw their firearm. But when deadly force is used, an officer involved shooting puts the wheels of investigation into high gear. What questions are asked in an internal review? What does an officer go through psychologically? What happens if the use of deadly force is ruled unjustified? Find out with Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank.

Presidential faith and pulpit politics with Forrest Church, author of the new book So Help Me God: The Founding Fathers and the First Great Battle Over Church and State. A Unitarian minister and son of the late Idaho Senator Frank Church, Church will be in Salt Lake City this month to talk about his book, as well as lead services at the First Unitarian Church.

And 50 years after Sputnik, a space elevator may be the next frontier in space exploration. Midday Metro talks with Ben Shelef of the Spaceward Foundation, which brings the Space Elevator Games to Utah this month.
