Bill Moves to House Giving Threatened College Level Ed Programs for Inmates $1.5 Mil

(KCPW News) House Bill 86 is making its way through the Legislature. It asks the state for $1.5 million to fund college courses for inmates. The bill has many supporters, who tout education as the best way to keep career criminals out of jail. KCPW's Elizabeth Ziegler has the story:
