Discusses Legislative Priorities

(KCPW News) As the state legislature's session wraps up tonight at midnight, Salt Lake City Council members are frustrated with a few measures that target the city. Last night, this was discussed as the council met for its weekly work session and city council meeting. This morning, KCPW's Jeff Robinson spoke with Vice Chairman Carlton Christensen about what the city is keeping its eye on when it comes to both the state legislature and federal money, and also a change in the city's budgeting process that will give the council more input.

Tomorrow we'll be sitting down with Mayor Ralph Becker to discuss the legislative session and how Salt Lake City fared this year. We'll bring that interview to you Friday morning at 7:30.
