Some might say they have one of the most stress filled jobs in the world. Midday Metro meets members of the Salt Lake City Police Department's hostage negotiating team. Guests include Detectives Brian Wahlin and Steve Hartney.
In a fast-food world, is there a perfect meal? Author Michael Pollan will be here to talk about the way our food choices affect our health and the health of the environment around us. His books include In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto and The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals. Pollan is in town as a guest of the Utah Museum of Natural History for its Nature of Things Lecture Series tonight at Abravanel Hall.
