Incumbents Facing Challengers Across the State
(KCPW News) Utah Republican and Democratic Party officials can now take a breather, after the 10-day period for candidates to file for state, county and federal offices came to a close last night. Utah Republican Party Chairman Stan Lockhart expects Utahns' values to continue to align with the majority party, while Utah Democratic Party chairman Wayne Holland says change is on the way. KCPW's Jeff Robinson spoke with them both along with some of the candidates to get their take on who has the best to offer the people of Utah this coming November.
Check out the list of all the candidates running for federal, state and Salt Lake County offices, and information about local Republican and Democratic caucuses.

What a sad day for Utah Democrats. Not a single serious contender for the Governorship. On the day that each of the contenders become an official candidate: ***one candidate doesn't have a website***another candidate has a pseudo-website (it's just a powerpoint presentation about taxes)***the third Democratic candidate actually has a website, but lists his primary goal as getting everyone in Utah to buy an electric car (yeah, right!)
I don't know what's worse, having a Republican Governor run unopposed or having him run against one of these three undignified candidates.
