A Gen-Xer himself, he is the author of the new book titled X Saves the World: How Generation X Got the Shaft but Can Still Keep Everything from Sucking. In it, he takes a close look at the accomplishments and culture created by those born between 1960 and 1977. Jeff Gordinier is Editor-at-Large at Details magazine. He has written for numerous major publications including Esquire, GQ, Fortune, and the Los Angeles Times.
