(KCPW News) Have you noticed your new neighbors -- all 84,000? That's the increase in Utah's population last year. Dr. Robert Lang, author of Boomburbs: The Rise of America’s Accidental Cities, talks about smart ways to manage growth.
A panel discussion featured Dr. Lang; Salt Lake City Councilman Soren Simonsen; Rick Horst, South Jordan City Manager; and Mike Coulam, Sandy City Community Development Director.
The event was co-sponsored by the Utah League of Cities and Towns, in partnership with the Utah Intergovernmental Roundtable and the Utah Chapter of the American Planning Association and NPR Utah, KCPW 88.3 FM.
