I emailed the following request to ask Mayor Corroon:

Mayor Corroon is aware of the fact that the state still uses an essential water pollution test incorrectly, so we still do not know how sewage treatment plants operate and what their effluent waste loading is on the Jordan River. He is also aware of the fact that the Jordan River still is used as a giant urinal and that Utah State Science Council in 1984 advised Governor Matheson to correct this test, which neither he nor his successors ever did.The mayor, advised by his staff, claims he can not do anything, because it is up to the State to take action.

Ask him, why he, as the people’s representative, can not even discuss this with the Governor?Or is that too much to ask from the public media?

Since I have a hard time receiving KCPW's signal where I live, I had to go into my car to listen. I was really disappointed that this question was not asked; even tough questions were raised about the Jordan River. Who wants to swim, canoe or sit on the banks of a river that is used as a giant urinal?
