A Conversation with Party Chairman James Evans
(KCPW News) On Saturday, the Salt Lake County Republicans held their convention at the South Towne Expo Centre in Sandy. KCPW's Jeff Robinson spoke with county party chairman James Evans for a wrap-up of the event and a look ahead to this election season for the Republicans. On the state level, he discusses which senate and legislative districts the party is excited about. On the county level, the chairman gives his take on the party's chances against Mayor Peter Corroon and Councilman Randy Horiuchi, and why he feels the sheriff is playing politics with Horiuchi's Republican opponent.
