May 13, 2008 by Elizabeth Ziegler
(KCPW News) Most never dreamed they'd need the coverage, but for thousands of Utahns amputation is a reality. And often, the shock of losing an arm or leg to save their lives is just a prelude to the surprise they get when they look at their insurance policies. Here's KCPW's Elizabeth Ziegler with an in-depth look at the latest push for prosthetic parity in Utah.
Representative David Litvak and Tami Stanley of the Amputee Coalition of America will hold two town hall meetings about prosthetic parity. The first meeting starts tonight at 7 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sandy. Another meeting is scheduled June 10 in Orem.
