Constitution Party Candidate Campaigns in Utah

A Conversation with Chuck Baldwin
(KCPW News) There are more than two presidential candidates in the running this year, and though he doesn't have the name recognition of John McCain or Barack Obama, Constitution Party nominee Chuck Baldwin spent last week in Utah, drumming up support. Baldwin, a Baptist pastor and radio talk-show host from Florida, openly acknowledges he has no experience in politics, but to him, that's a big plus. And he says his platform of securing the borders, taxing all foreign imports and eliminating several federal departments is drawing voters who feel disenfranchised by both parties. KCPW's Jeff Robinson spoke with Baldwin while he was in Utah to find out what he stands for.

Interesting, but naive regarding the borders. There is no way to secure the borders. We can strengthen the borders and reduce illegal immigration, we can never completely eliminate illegal immigration. The creativity to come to America is greater than any isolationist policy. Let's marry any border strengthening activity with simplified legal immigration and greater international trade.
