Report Finds Flaws in SLC's Handling of Victims of Child Sex Traffickers, New State Law

(KCPW News) The trafficking of children for sex is a problem in Salt Lake City, according to a Shared Hope International report released today. The survey of 10 U.S. cities commends Salt Lake City's law enforcement efforts and a new human trafficking law passed this year by the state legislature. But it also highlights deficiencies in the state's treatment of victims and a statutory weakness in the new law.
