Expert Says Chris Cannon Primary Is Indicator For Republicans On Immigration Issue

Now that Utah's political conventions are out of the way - primary season is in full swing.
Each week, KCPW checks in with Congressional Quarterly experts leading up to the 2006 midterm election.
This week, online editor Bob Benenson tells KCPW's Bryan Schott the fact that Congressman Chris Cannon, the incumbent in one of the most Republican districts in the nation, was forced into a primary is surprising and should raise some red flags for other Republicans around the country.

Chris Cannon is not listening. The taxpayers are at the breaking point on the immigration issue. We do not like the higher crime, higher medical costs, etc attached to the high numbers of illegals that we are required to underwrite. Go to Phoenix and see what happens to a community when it is overrun by illegal Hispanics. Not to mention the agenda of La Raza, MEChA, and Aztlan. Illegals are spitting in our faces and reaping the rewards of favor from our elected politicians..unacceptable!
