(KCPW News) A new monthly newspaper in Utah gives voice to the state's growing ethnic community."When you talk to people in the corporate and education community, everbody's talking about diversity," says Albert C. Jones, publisher and editor of The Diversity Times.
The newspaper's first edition is out this month, with features on a new biography about Reverend France Davis, a report of Mexican President Vicente Fox's visit to Utah and the latest efforts by the International Rescue Committee to help refugees resettle in Utah. Jones is hopeful this first edition of the 12-page newspaper will inspire the confidence of potential advertisers. It's his first publishing endeavor, but he has worked for several newspapers during his career. The Diversity Times is available for free at libraries, faith-based organizations and selected newsstands between Provo and Ogden.
